Reading is one of activity that can give a lot of information, especially new vocabularies for students who are learning English. Reading will be very helpful for them as EFL students to improve their reading skill, enrich their vocabularies, and also understand the grammatical rule .
Actually, students do not only do reading activity from the book or textbook, for example they can read the film's subtitle in television or youtube, from newspapers or magazines, brochures, ingredients on some products and many other media can help students' reading comprehension.
The problem is reading activity for students in majority can make them boring, because they feel difficult to get the information when they meet new vocabularies. They have to open their dictionary first to know the meaning each word they don't know, read again, open the dictionary again, and so on.
In case of teaching reading, teacher has an important role to make them more excited and enjoy in reading class. Teacher may also give them other strategies to improve their reading comprehension.
